Jack Franklin Wise

Jack Franklin Wise served as church pianist in the early 90’s. During that time he composed the music and lyrics for a children’s Christmas musical, “The Luckiest Donkey”, which was performed 2 consecutive years at the Sangre De Cristo Arts Center through the sponsorship of a local Christian organization in Pueblo, Colorado. He was also accompanist for special choir cantatas and participated with worship teams at numerous retreats for singles and youth groups.

Jack entered full time into the music scene in 2006 to focus on the craft of commercial songwriting. He traveled to Nashville many times and made numerous acquaintances with people in the music industry. Two of his songs were signed by publishers and currently two more songs are on hold. Jack is a member of Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI).

Jack recorded his first CD in 2008, a collection of 12 original piano compositions titled “Portraits in Piano”. The CD received an excellent review from a local newspaper music column. A producer from MTV Networks picked up one of the songs on the CD for possible licensing, titled “A Place Called Sleepy Town”.

In 2009, Jack produced his 2nd CD, “Hymns Project”, a collection of timeless hymns and sacred songs. He included one of his own songs on the album, an Easter song titled “Gift From Heaven”.

His Christmas CD, “Portraits of December” was released in 2016. Among the familiar carols and classic Christmas songs on the album. Jack also recorded two of his own holiday songs, a rhapsody titled “Advent of The Christ” and ” The Little Child in Me” featuring vocal artist Rachel Williams.

Songs from all three albums are now live on Pandora and Spotify.

Soon will be released a 4th album from Jack Franklin Wise. This project will be a collection of soothing piano solo tracks.
